FAA and EASA Flight Instructors

FAA and EASA Flight Instructor positions available: Junior and Senior CFI/CFII/ME

The candidates must share our vision of excellence in instruction and be able to lead our students to successful completion of their flight and theoretical training. Must also be able to adapt to a variety of teaching situations and posses the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues and staff, in a climate that promotes professionalism and safe flying.

Core tasks:

A. Providing flight and/or ground instruction in accordance to Flying Academy and FAA and EASA regulations and procedures;

B. Developing course content, preparing schedules, maintaining records, ensuring the course standards, training requirements and objectives are met by each student in each flight course.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform flight/ground instruction in accordance with the FAA and EASA approval

2. Ensure all students understand and practice all aspects of safe flying.

3. Accurately maintaining all appropriate records: student training record, student logbook and e-records.

4. Recommend curriculum improvements when appropriate and develop new curriculum as assigned.

5. Attend administrative standardization, in-service training and instructor development meetings as assigned.

6. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Current FI rating. If CFI/CFII/MEI rating not available – willingness to undertake the training with Flying Academy.

Technicians

Flying Academy is looking to fill the position of Technician responsible for providing the maintenance on Cessna 100 series and Piper PA 34.

Key skills:

  • Mechanical skills
  • Team player

Job Requirements:

  • EASA AML Part 66, B1 or B2
  • Type rating Cessna 100 series; PA 34 is an advantage
  • At least 6 months work experience on type in the last 2 years
  • Experience as certifying staff
  • Willing to relocate to the Czech Republic to Prague or Brno.

Front office/Back office representative in Brno and Prague

Responsibilities:

We are looking for energetic office assistant in Brno/Prague.

Duty:

  • Assisting the customers with their requests.
  • Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
  • Dealing with correspondence and writing letters, taking dictation and minutes.
  • Dealing with incoming email.
  • Following up with the staff and preparing status reports on projects.
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentation.
  • Other tasks as requested by managers.

Junior Flight Training Consultant

Position description:

Website Coordinator 

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a new colleage for the position of Website Coordinator in Prague, Brno or Miami.

The Website Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing and maintaining the primary websites of Flying Academy across markets. The Website Coordinator must have a strong user understanding and demonstrated expertise in Web content, usability, architecture, development and design.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage websites and/or online shops. Provide excellent management and leadership and work collaboratively with staff, management, graphic designers, online agencies and IT support.
  • Taking a lead role in maintenance and development of the sites
  • Partner with internal and external content managers, editors, designers, developers, and other staff to ensure sites meet both client company needs and align with the brand strategy platform.
  • Writing reports for senior managers
  • Setting permissions for site users
  • Promoting information about the website to target customers and partners
  • Carrying out quality assurance checks on content
  • Reporting technical problems to IT support staff dealing with legal issues, such as copyright and data protection.
  • Market and present web/digital strategies to diverse audiences, manage multiple projects and maintain schedules and budgets

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast paced company in web, software or service delivery industries
  • Experience in delivering digital based products, managing roadmaps, or equivalent progressive experience
  • Track record of project execution; completing and shipping excellent products on time and on budget
  • Ability to articulate clear and concise requirements for new products and new features
  • Proven ability to work under rapid development cycles to achieve a common goal
  • Ability to prioritize new feature launches based on competitive analysis, industry trends, emerging technologies, and company vision
  • Proven ability to influence cross functional teams without formal authority

Flying Academy is looking for UAV technician

General requirements:

English language (aimed on microelectronic for engineers).
Secondary or higher education in Microelectronic, Telematics or electrical engineering (graduates or university students welcome).

Hard skills:

  • Understanding of technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Active experience with flux soldering and PCB repairs.
  • Active experience with design and testing of circuits and PCB´s.
  • Active experience with RC models or kopters.
  • Basic experience with personel licencing under "L2 / Doplněk X - UAV".
  • Driving licence B - Active driver.

Soft skills:

  • Active experience with using/building kopters (quad/hexa/octo) experience with MikroKopter systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with exterior photography.
  • Licence under Czech CAA to operate UAV systems is an advantage.

Job dutties:

  • Construction and maintenance of Hexa-kopter, construction and development of further systems on demand (Quad,Hexa,Octo).
  • Repairs and maintenance of PCB´s, wiring and other microelectronical systems.
  • Design and production of servo powered photo platforms,
  • Programing and preparing nav-data for aerial photography.
  • Active assistance and cooperation in aerial works (Pilot/Operator).
