Global Pilot Program

EASA & FAA Global Pilot License

For over three decades Flying Academy has been holding one of the leading positions in ab-initio pilot training in the European Union and the United States of America. We are providing a wide-range training program portfolio, according to EASA (European) and FAA (USA) regulations, in order to prepare highly skilled professionals on two continents.

The new Global Pilot Program provided by Flying Academy will give you a unique opportunity to combine the advantages of holding both FAA and EASA Commercial Pilot Licenses with full privileges and a milestone of 221 hours total flight time.

Course entry requirements

  • Minimum age - 18 years
  • First class medical certificate
  • No flight experience
  • Sufficient knowledge level of Mathematics and Physics
  • English language knowledge - ATO oral and written test
  • European Union or United States citizen

Privileges

As a holder of  EASA & FAA Global PIlot License, with IR(A) and MEP(A) qualifications and ATPL(A) theory, you will be able to cap job offers all across the globe straight after the training.

The license can be easily converted to any other required standard, thank to its diversity and high demand in the world.

Duration

The minimum time needed for completion of the Global Pilot Program is 16 months.

Subsidized iPad

Flying Academy is equipping all trainees starting the Global Pilot License training Program with a subsidized iPad Mini 4G+WiFi. The iPad will be used primarily for studying, as materials are sent wirelessly to the trainee’s iPad for each phase of the training: PPL – Plane operating handbooks, PPL manual, Charts, Planning tools and documents to ATPL – eBooks, but also training materials for all intermediary steps [i.e. IR(A)].

Learning objectives

The training program is based on realistic flight training requirements, not the minimum ones that are usually exceeded during such training.

The training is divided into 3 modules:

Module 1, done in the USA

  • FAA PPL(A)
  • Time Building required for the FAA-EASA conversion
  • ATPL theory - distance learning module

Module 2, done in Europe

  • ATPL theory - “in house” ground school
  • EASA IR, MEP, CPL

Module 3, done in USA

  • FAA IR, MEP, CPL training and checkrides

In the end of the training you will have:

  • 221 Hours Logged Flight Time and a dual EASA and FAA Commercial Pilot License, with Multi-Engine Instrument Rating and the EASA one with frozen ATPL(A).
